Metricreg Ltd Free Software Trial Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions shall apply should you take advantage of Metricreg Ltd.’s free trial period.
General
1.Metricreg Ltd Standard Terms and Conditions of Business (which can be found at www.metricreg.com) shall apply in addition to the Free Trial Terms and Conditions.
2.The free trial period shall last for a period of 30 days only (“the Free Trial Period”) during which you shall have access to the software and services set out on the free trial offer. The free trial offer shall include the loan of Microsoft Surface Go tablet, a Universal Tablet Countertop Kiosk Stand (tablet holder), and a Brother QL-820NWB printer and a scanner, which should be return within 7 days of the end of the Free Trial Period.
3.The Free Trial Period is deemed to start from the date on which you are provided with the log-in details for the software.
4.The login details for the software shall be sent via text only to the mobile number provided on the Free Trial Form.
5.After the Free Trial Period, you shall no longer be able to access the software unless you sign up for a paid service. All data inputted onto the Software will be automatically deleted within 7 days of the end of the Free Trial Period unless you have signed-up for a paid service.
6.Only one free-trial period is permitted per organisation.
7.The free trial offer applies only to new customers who sign up for the free trial
8.The free trial offer shall apply to genuine new customer enquiries only. Metricreg Ltd reviews all orders and reserves the right to deny remove or cancel the free trial at any time and for whatever reason.
9.Metricreg Ltd reserves the right to change the features of the free trial offer at any time.
Hardware
10.As part of the free trial offer, Metricreg Ltd shall provide you with the hardware listed in Clause 2. Once Metricreg Ltd. receives evidence that the hardware in clause 2 has been delivered to the recipient organisation, Metricreg Ltd. shall raise an invoice for the full cost of the loaned hardware. However, this invoice shall only be payable should the recipient organisation fail to return the hardware within 7 days of the expiry of the Free Trial Period, or in the event that the hardware is not received in the same condition in which it was provided by Metricreg Ltd. at the beginning of the Free Trial Period. The return of the hardware within 7 days is a condition to the free trial offer as prompt return of hardware is essential to the efficient operation of Metricreg Ltd.’s business.
11.The hardware mentioned in clause 2 above shall be returned to Metricreg Ltd.’s office address which is: Metricreg Ltd, Unit 20 Brockley Cross Business Centre, 96 Endwell Road, Brockley, London SE4 2PD. All postage costs shall be borne by the organisation undertaking the free trial. It is advised that proof of postage is obtained as Metricreg Ltd. shall not be responsible for hardware lost in delivery.
12.Hardware returned after the Free Trial Period must be received by Metricreg within 7 days of the end of the Free Trial Period. Should the hardware not be received within 7 days of the end of the Free Trial Period, the invoice shall become payable and shall be settled within 14 days of the end of the Free Trial Period.
13.Any fault or problems with the hardware must be notified via email to either sales@metricreg.com or support@metricreg.com within two hours of receiving the hardware, supported with photographic evidence. Otherwise, it shall be deemed that the hardware was received in good working order.
14.Hardware shall be returned in the same condition in which it was provided by Metricreg Ltd to the organisation at the beginning of the Free Trial Period. All returned hardware shall be inspected by Metricreg Ltd upon receipt and an assessment shall be made, at Metricreg Ltd.’s sole discretion, as to whether the returned hardware is defective.
15.Costs of repairing any damage done to the returned hardware shall be charged to the organisation undertaking the free trial by way of invoice and the invoice shall be payable within 14 days of the invoice date.
Data Security
16.For the purpose of data security, the organisation using the Free Trial agrees to change the password details provided by Metricreg at the start of the Free Trial period.
17.The organisation using the Free Trial shall be fully responsible for the secure and safekeeping of the login details and web address provided by Metricreg for the Free Trial Period.
18.Metricreg shall not be responsible for any data breach as a result of the organisation staff members sharing the web page or login details with third parties or unauthorised personnel.
Continuation of services after the Free Trial Period
19.If a decision is made to make a purchase before or after the Free Trial Period, payment will have to be made before products are delivered.
20.Passes, fobs, cards, and MIS integration are excluded from the Free Trial offer. However, these will be provided to customers who sign up for a paid service following the Free Trial Period.
Intellectual Property
21.The software remains the property of Metricreg Ltd. Any organisation using the software during the Free Trial Period shall not, during and/or after the Free Trial Period, copy, reproduce or distribute the software to any third parties under any circumstances.
